Spirit Catholic Radio Prayer Apostolate - Prayer Request | ||

For the week of January 11th - 17th:
Heavenly Father, with grateful hearts, we thank you for the radio apostolate of Spirit Catholic Radio. We ask for your continual blessings upon it and its mission of evangelization. We also ask your special blessings upon all who share in its mission by their temporal and spiritual support. Help us to be witnesses of the love of Jesus in our lives and in its continued presence in our midst. Amen.
Come, Holy Spirit! Fill our hearts with the fire of your love. Hear us in our prayer as we ask for your divine assistance in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ over the airwaves. We ask that you bless our efforts and have people tune in!
Father, we also thank you for the many blessings we have received throughout Nebraska and Iowa, especially throughout 2011. We are thankful that your Gospel message will now reach more people in the Heartland through the expansion efforts of so many people! We pray that the new program line-up will help bring more people to a closer relationship with You.
Dear Mother Mary, please thank your Son for the wonderful benefactors who made our move to the new studios a reality. We thank you for the many people who come to the station and pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament for the needs of the station, for other Catholic radio stations across the country, and for media in general - that it may glorify your Son. We ask for special blessings for the new Morning Show members - TJ Bell and Rachel Sawin. Guide them in their words to help bring people closer to your Son. Please help to heal our Engineer Mark Voris who fell from a ladder while working on our satellite dish on December 22nd and has been hospitalized through December 27th. Heal his ribs and his back.
Holy Trinity - keep our eyes and ears sharp in finding opportunities to spread your word with the people we come in contact this day. Thank you for helping to finalize the purchase of the signal in North Platte. Help us find the leadership in the community over the coming months to raise the $40,000 needed to put the station on the air.
We also ask that you continue to keep the physical and spiritual health and well-being of the Spirit Catholic Radio staff, board and committee members in your heart. Deliver them from the evil one.
We pray that all who listen to the station are fed in some way by your word. We thank you Father, Son and Holy Spirit for hearing our prayer!
